Refersion is New York-based software for running affiliate programmes for e-commerce brands, mainly on Shopify, operating since 2014 (the site footer says ©2013). It was acquired by Assembly in 2020 and by Pantastic in 2023.
Affiliates find brands and apply to offers in a free Marketplace that requires an account. DTC brands in health and wellness, home, fashion and beauty, and food dominate — including Jigsaw Health, Momentous, OSEA Malibu and Boardroom Socks. According to a 2023 announcement, brands have generated over USD 2 billion in affiliate revenue and paid more than USD 300 million in commissions through the platform.
It is SaaS for brands rather than a classic network: brands on a free listing must move to a paid plan to approve affiliate applications.
| Network type | Affiliate programme marketplace (SaaS for brands) |
| Billing model | CPS, flat commission, subscriptions, multi-level |
| GEO / market | mainly US (global reach unconfirmed) |
| Support | help centre (affiliate FAQ) |
| Individual accounts | yes |
| Operator | Pantastic (since 2023) |
Programmes can pay a percentage of sales, a flat commission, subscription commissions or a multi-level structure. Affiliates have a help centre with an FAQ.
The platform has no payout threshold of its own — each merchant sets the threshold, schedule and method, so payout risk sits with them.
